Tom was the
eldest son of his family. Next day after his marriage, when he introduced his
wife Julia to all family members, she realized to go hand-in-hand with a family
of 21 members would not be an easy task.
Few days after, Tom
asked Julia– Is she happy?
Then Julia
answered tranquilly with a smile on her face– Yes, I am very happy.
By listening this,
Tom wondered because he himself had seen her aunts taunting Julia, and there’s
lot of work from morning till night, so
he questioned her- Since morning till night doing household work and listening to
aunts don’t you feel nasty?
On this Julia
with a little smile on face spoke- No, I don’t feel bad about anything.
Tom was curious
to know the reason behind her endurance then he asked her, on which Julia
answered– Whatever turnings and happenings took place in my daily life and the
atmosphere which surrounds me, I write all in my diary, then when my diary will
be completed, I will make a novel of it. I am very happy living here because
in such a big family, I have various characters for my novel. That’s why I write
about all characters and their behavior in my novel.
Next morning, Tom
unveiled to all family members about Julia’s novel, in which she writes about
behaviour of all family members and work of the whole day.
By listening
this, one thought struck everyone’s mind that they all have to show their
character sturdy. From that day all behaved nicely, remained happily with each
other. Julia also didn’t have to listen taunting. Neither was there any tussle
between elders nor children quarreled with each other because everyone had to
show their character and behavior more superior and reliable than others.
Slowly-slowly
they used to behave in the same manner. Then after few days all asked Julia
when her novel will be completed? Then Julia sweetly answered that soon it is
going to be finished. After asking time and again she replied the same.
One day Tom
lonely asked her wife- Many days have passed, when your novel will be completed? Finally when do you write that novel, neither anyone has seen your novel
nor you have hidden it anywhere?
Then Julia
answered- I don’t write any novel. I have done this drama to connect all family
members so that they could change their behaviour and live happily. Now, if
everything is clear then we should tell this to everyone that as such there is
no novel.
Next morning, when
she revealed this to everyone, all family members thanked and praised her; because of her wit, she had bounded all family members in a relation of love and
affection. In this way, Julia with her intelligence had turned around adverse
situations and made them congenial.
