One day, Garrison (a French person) went outside the
city for his professional work. In home, his wife and son lived alone.
When he was outside the city, one terrible accident
took place in which his son died.
In that difficult situation her wife supported herself
and didn’t let this news be reached to Garrison. Being out of the house he
might come in any shock, due to this reason she waited for arrival of Garrison.
After some days, Garrison reached home; he met his
wife happily and asked about his son.
She said- Son has gone to school, you take rest.
They calmly did their lunch. Wife asked about his
work, after doing talk of everything day passed away, Garrison again asked
about Son.
Wife said- Firstly you tell me one thing.
Garrison agreed, then his wife asked- The jewelleries
which my friend handed over me to take care of, in those jewelleries one
necklace is very loveable to me. I don’t want to return that necklace, instead
of that I will give her cost of that necklace. That necklace has touched my
heart; should I return that necklace or not? You tell!
Garrison after thinking replied- Look, if your friend
agrees to take money instead of that necklace so you can take, otherwise not. If
she disagrees then you should give that necklace to her. I will buy new
necklace for you, maybe new necklace would be more lovable to you than that
necklace.
Wife said- You are saying right, that has happened! Our
son was one of the sons of God, who was sent to us; God has taken him back and
not asked about the price. Now I want another son, who should be better than
him.
By listening this, Garrison’s eyes filled with tears
and he tightly hugged his wife. In this way, his wife told him about that sad incident
in calm way by giving him less pain.
