When a state’s New Chief Minister took over his post
since then the law and order of state had begun to deteriorate.
The cases of felony, vandalism, looting etc. began to
grow in state. Public got tensed but the Chief Minister and his cabinet didn’t
take any proper action; they were wallowing and having fun.
The environment of chaos was spread all over from
officers to employees.
When the problems of public started to increase; some
scholars of state went to a social reformer of nearby state and by meeting him,
they informed- The Ministers of our state are becoming irresponsible, if it
continues like this then it will be difficult for us to survive then
constrainedly we have to leave our birth place and have to flee to another
state; please, explain to our Chief Minister.
The social reformer of nearby state knew the condition
of their state; therefore by assuring them, he said- You all go, I will quickly
find out some reasonable solution of this problem.
After a few days, that social reformer came to meet
the Chief Minister of nearby state.
The Chief Minister knew him very well so he welcomed
him in a good manner with much respect and care.
While talking, the social reformer said- I ask you one
question: If some goons have kidnapped you and the state’s legal system have unable
to find you; those kidnappers torture you and you are dying of hunger and
thirst, in this situation if they give you food and water only on the condition
that you have to give them all your property, then what will you do?
Chief Minister after thinking replied- To save life I
will give them my property because the property can be re-earned.
By listening this social reformer again asked- If
those kidnappers leave you on the condition that you have to flee from your
state and their Headman will be the Chief Minister of state, otherwise your
life will be taken, then what will you do?
Chief Minister said in confused expression- This will hurt
much but to save life it’s better to flee from the state. Why are you asking
all these useless questions?
Then the social reformer explained- These are not
useless questions. When you can squander everything to protect your life then just
think about the public of your state who have been forced to flee to other
state due to depraved legal system and increased chaos of the state.
By listening the words of social reformer, Chief Minister
realised his mistake and since then he disciplined himself, managed the work
and procedure of his cabinet, and also improved the legal system; by which
chaos and problems of state began to improve.

responsibility. If the prominent persons in high positions utilize their
authority in prudent way for welfare of society then they become ideal for
