Story starts, when there was not beginning of creation on
Earth,
and Earth didn’t
rotate about its axis and around the Sun. One half of Earth was occupied by Sun
and other half by Moon.
“God started life on Earth”.
In Sun’s side on Earth there was always brightness, so
creatures did work whole day, ate food then again went to work; In this way
they became feeble and began to die.
In Moon’s side on Earth there was always darkness, so creatures
always took rest whole day and did nothing; In fact they didn’t make their food,
without food their body started to shrink and they quickly began to die.
By looking this, God got tensed because life of
creatures on earth was not survival.
So firstly, God called creatures of Sun’s side from Earth
and asked them- Why do you always do work?
They replied- Sun is our lord and he always keeps upon
us so we always do work, work is beloved to us.
Secondly, God called creatures of Moon’s side from Earth
and asked them- Why do you always take rest and don’t work?
On this, they replied– Moon is our lord, he either
comes or not. He also takes rest so we also take rest, rest is loveable to us.
Both logic were valid, God’s tension had increased to
higher level.
God called Sun and asked- Why don’t you tell your side’s
creatures on Earth to do rest?
On that, Sun answered– I myself have never taken rest
so I don’t know what rest is.
Then God called Moon and asked- Why don’t you tell
your side’s creatures on Earth to do work?
On that, Moon answered- What is work? I don’t know.
Sun and Moon couldn’t solve God’s problem. Then God
called Earth and told him all narration and asked- How can creatures live
correctly on you?
Earth answered- When creatures will do work and rest in
a day, then life of creatures on me will go in right path. This is only
solution.
Much discussion
was done on this matter then Sun and Moon were asked to change their position
for half duration of the day. Moon was satisfied but Sun replied- No.
Then Earth was
told to rotate about its axis and around the Sun in such a manner that in half
duration Sun seems to be there and in other half Moon. In this way day and
night began. All creatures after doing work in day take rest at night and life
began to survive on Earth.
Dear friends, Work and rest should go
together then our life will regulate in right manner. Don’t do too much work
and don’t do too much rest. Balance between work and rest gives long life.
