Jack was a hardworking boy. He was good and well-mannered
student. He belonged to a poor family, his father was a cobbler and mother was a
housewife. The financial condition of his family was not good, due to which he
always remained tensed. That’s why after coming from school he usually helped
his father in his work.
Students of wealthy families who were his classmates
used to tease him and made fun of his father’s work which he didn’t like. Besides
studying he was preparing for accounting job in government department, but
trying hard and hard he was not succeeding. So he used to remain gloomy and
prayed to God to improve his miserable condition.
One day, after seeing his exam result of accounting
job he got tensed because he had worked hard for this exam and having more expectations
regarding this exam. But due to failure he was so disappointed such that sometime
he was cursing to his destiny for not giving him birth in wealthy family and
sometime to God for not supporting him.
While walking on path towards home he passed in front
of jeweller’s shop. There he saw a jeweller who was admiring a gold necklace and
beat it by a small hammer with full precaution, love and care; so that he
couldn’t make any mistake. Then the completed necklace was good looking but sensitive.
Then he passed through a
forge. There he saw a blacksmith who was making a spade from iron. He smelt
iron and then beat it with big hammer. The finished spade was not so good-looking
but very hard and strong.
He
then realised, I am wastefully cursing destiny and God. My life is like a spade
which in heat of difficulties and struggle with life-hammer has become so
strong that i can now face any situation and one day i shall succeed.
From
now onwards he promised himself to never give-up in life.
Dear
friends, We also get disappointed from bad situations of our life and then
curse to destiny and God. Instead of being disappointed we should learn
something from those difficulties and bad situations. We should do hard-work, then
hard-work will bring joy and success in our life. Thank You.
