In the western forest of China, there lived a flock of wild roosters and
hens. Among them one wild rooster always remained sad because of its beauty; when
it saw other birds and animals, it felt
shame on its beige-black colour.
In the same forest, there lived a flock of Golden Pheasants.
When that rooster looked towards the flock of golden Pheasants, it got
extremely influenced by their beautiful and attractive feathers of golden
colour. It then thought in its mind- Oh God! You have given them such a
wonderful and beautiful complexion. Hopefully, if you give me such a beautiful
complexion then my life would be fabulous.
One day, that rooster saw many golden feathers
scattered in the forest which had fallen due to playing of golden pheasants. By
seeing those feathers, rooster was very happy and thought in its mind- Putting
up these beautiful golden feathers, I’ll also be the boss of beautiful
complexion.
Thinking
this, it picked up the scattered golden feathers and decorated them around its
tail. After that, rooster was wandering in the forest with pride.
In forest,
whichever bird saw that rooster, they laughed on it.
Other
hens and roosters made it understand a lot that to look beautiful leave false
showy feathers of golden pheasants and love your natural complexion.
But
those talks didn’t affect it any; it thought that they all are jealous of its
beautiful complexion so giving useless advices.
After
some time, rooster by wandering in forest came near the flock of golden
pheasants and thought in its mind that they would praise it for its beautiful
complexion.
But
seeing it, golden pheasants laughed loudly.
One golden
pheasant ridiculed- See this foolish rooster! It’s imitating us by putting
fallen feathers of ours on itself. Come; let’s teach a lesson to this mocking rooster
by our beak and claws.
Hearing
this, all golden pheasants attacked on it and made it half-dead.
Rooster
by running came to its flock and complained about the golden pheasants- Save
me! Golden pheasants have inexplicably attacked on me.
On
this, one old rooster of flock explained- Dear son, mistake is yours not
theirs. We already told you that don’t engage in showy complexion; you look
good as you are but you didn’t listen. Putting golden feathers, you not only
copied golden pheasants but also insulted your complexion. The organism who
imitates other organisms, it only finds insult.
The rooster
realised its mistake and at the same time it abandoned the infatuation of
beauty of external appearance.
Dear
friends, God has made us in which complexion, we should satisfy in that and should
concentrate on our deeds. The beauty of deeds is much greater than the beauty
of complexion. Thank You.
