The famous Polymath Leonardo da Vinci needed a young man to look after
his work. About this, he told to some of his friends.
After some days, one of his friends sent two young men
to Leonardo da Vinci. First Man was well educated, had many higher degrees and
certificates whereas other Man was general educated.
Both Men met Leonardo, instead of having many degrees
he didn’t appoint first Man on job, but appointed another Man who didn’t have
any higher degree.
When Leonardo’s friend came to know about this, he
asked- Can I know why have you appoint normal degree holder Man on job rather I
had also sent a higher degree holder Man to you?
Leonardo told- Dear friend, the second Man which I have
selected has special degrees than the higher degrees of first man.
His friend asked in confusion- But I had seen only normal
degrees in his hands!
Leonardo explained- The selected Man before entering
in the room took my permission; after coming inside he stood quietly until I
said him to sit. Whatever questions I asked he clearly answered without beating
around the bush, and after end of interview he took my permission and went
humbly. Neither he did my sycophancy nor had he brought any recommendation. Despite
having no higher degrees he had full confidence on his capability and hard work;
very few people have such special degrees.
On the other hand, first Man didn’t have any of these
degrees. He directly entered in my room; without permission sat on chair and
instead of talking about his qualifications, he began to tell about his acquaintance
with you. Now you tell me what’s the value of his higher degrees?
Friend didn’t have any answer and understood Leonardo’s
talk.

behaviour and manner is a special degree holder because to be diligent and to acquire good manner is never less than a higher
