Once upon a time when drought affected the areas of ‘sandspur’
village, all lakes, rivers, and other sources of water got dried up. Human-beings
and animals were starved for water. All were expecting rainfall so that drought
would stop, but slowly-slowly they began to lose hope.
Remaining water also began to finish up. Survival of
living beings on this earth without water is impossible to imagine, because for
our daily works we depend upon water. In this adverse situation, everybody
thought to leave the village. All headed for any safe place with their families
and pet animals.
In that village, a school teacher lived with his three
sons. When he thought that hoping for rain isn’t convenient; so he also decided
to leave village with his sons.
Walking a distance apart they found not a single
animal, and nearby places were also unoccupied.
After walking miles away, Teacher’s younger son became
unconscious due to lack of water and found difficulty in walking. Teacher told
his elder son to arrange some water quickly.
Walking the few distance, elder son saw a river which
was flowing outside a village, where many people were washing clothes, some
were bathing and some were cleaning their pets, so the water of river was
looking dirty. He thought, taking this dirty water wouldn’t be safe; so he
walked towards village.
After long time when he didn’t return, then seeing his
fainted son, Teacher told his middle son to bring water quickly.
After a while his middle son returned with water. Teacher
sprayed water on face of his fainted son and revived him, gave him water and
himself also drank water.
Then his elder son came running with water.
Teacher asked his elder son- Why did you take so long
time to bring water?
Elder son replied- Father,
river’s water was dirty, that’s why I went inside village to arrange water.
Then,
surprisingly Teacher asked his middle son- How did you come quickly with water?
On
this, middle son replied- Father, first I also thought like that, and then
suddenly I thought to go upward direction of river. When I went upward; I saw
there, the water was clean and other people were also filling water. So I also
took water quickly from there.
Teacher
on listening this, explained his three sons- In adverse situation, how we face difficulty
that only decide our future. Adverse situation affect both mind and heart of a person;
but with own intelligence and prowess we can deal with them, and gain success
in our life. We have to keep patience and calm mind, so that we could find
facile solution to get rid-off that difficulty. If problem comes, then it has
many solutions, but this depends upon us which solution we choose to face that
problem.
Dear
friends, Bad time doesn’t come by knocking our door; but when it comes, we
have to deal with it in right direction, that only decides our future. You
might have to notice that in adverse situation some people fall apart and some
create history. If you are also dealing with any problem, then think with cool
mind, its solution will be there only. Take right decision in bad situation so
that you could face that problem with courage and achieve success in your life.
