Story begins with two friends, who after completing
their education, wanted to earn money quickly. Both went to their teacher and
asked- What is the easiest and fastest way to earn money so that our life will have wealth, comfort and facilities?
On this, teacher replied- I have given you complete
education by which you can earn your livelihood. You should keep
patience, otherwise only God knows the easiest way to earn money.
Besides keeping patience they preferred to ask God the
easiest way to earn money, so they started to meditate.
God emerged seeing their meditation.
Both asked in the same tone- God, we asked our teacher
the fastest way to earn money, he told that God knows the easiest way. Please, kindly
tell us the easiest way to earn money.
God showed them two paths. First path was ordinary,
not enough money, all seems to be normal and happiness was also general;
whereas second path was filled with gold and silver palaces with full revelry.
God said- First path is based on truth and honesty
while second path is based on falsity and dishonesty. You can walk on any path
but remember after completing half way, you can’t return back.
Both friends wanted to earn money quickly so they
entered the second path. As they step forward towards it, their whole life was
filled with comfort and wealth, but dishonesty ruled over their heart.
Days passed away, both were in the sea of wealth and
money. Half the way was crossed but in the next half they felt scared. The
money by which they were enjoying, created a fear of being lost so they
remained concerned; After having much money and comfort, rest was not there. By
bad habits their health became pathogenic; they had big houses but there were not
a single spoon of happiness. Both friends also became jealous and started to
fight with each other.
After sometime both died, they again met to God and
asked- Why all this happened?
God replied- The way you opt
for was full of
dishonesty and falsity while the other path was full of truth and loyalty.
Dishonesty and falsity create fear that’s why you always felt scared. Badness ruined
your life; whereas honesty and truth raise spirits so the people of that path are
filled with morale, and live better life.
Both realised their mistake but then it was too late
to come back.
Dear friends, This happens with all of us, we also
want to earn money, comfort, name and fame. To earn all
this is not a bad thing but we should remember that we shouldn’t choose the
path of dishonesty and falsity, if we are walking on the path of dishonesty and
falsity then we should snap out of it, because today there is lump of money and
wealth, but in the next level there will be anxiety, and it will trouble us.
Walking on the right path of truth and honesty will make our life full of real joy
